my biggest automotive change will hopefully be an electric vehicle, if not a hybrid. i had a 2003 jetta wagon tdi which was getting me very good fuel economy, as well as reliability and i had planned a lot of modifications to get it close to 0 emissions, as well as up to around 300 hp (off of 90 hp stock), and over 100 mpg! mental fuel economy, especially for the power and the fact i'm in the states. unfortunately i had to ditch it, and i ended up with an audi allroad which gets such bad fuel economy. 350 miles on an 18 gallon tank
i would like a hybrid mechanical injection diesel, with def, and cng bi-fueling. someday i will build the ultimate commuter and it will be hopefully be before a decade from now that i have it finished, but my projects usually take twice as long as i assume
