I sure hope we find a way to reduce the production cost soon. Tesla's full credit begins to phase out in the US in January, and GM begins phase out in April. At some point the federal gov't will sunset the tax credit since it will begin to favor the late adopting foreign companies.

It wouldn't surprise me if sales took a dip sometime around 2020, or however long it takes to satisfy global demand.
