Haha, yes the potential rolling resistance is also quite high.

I like the Syd Mead influences of the illustration and the general racy attitude.

I assume that it is not meant to be taken seriously or as technically accurate, it is meant to be an inspiration, to invoke an emotional response without too much thinking (I'm guessing).

I'm also sensing a bit of Gerry Anderson (Thunderbirds) influence.

A clear plexiglass teardrop bubble aft-cab would have been an over the top effect, but would have transformed it for the Ecomodder crowd.

EDIT:
Here are some oddities, they are not aerodynamic themselves, but when deployed are very unaerodynamic.
