Do you guys recommend against buying the CVT, fixing it up, and selling it for profit? The listing says that it runs and drives, although that does not mean that it is roadworthy, and who knows what the mechanical noise is. Does it make any difference that it says "Donated vehicle?" I tried to create a Copart account before. I do not have any idea what happened, but I just created an account, I can see the AutoCheck for free, but the VIN is JHMZE14715S000198 if someone wants to check that using another service. They offer an EpicVIN report for $9. Is that somehow better? They provide a sample report and it includes information from the insurance report, photos of the damage, and pictures of the damage when it went for auction. It also compares the car with similar cars that went for auction and estimates cost of ownership each of the next five years. It says "Your report will be avaliable immedeately after payment."

I got broken red lines under "avaliable immedeately." Good job correctly spelling 75% of the words!

There is also a Vehicle Condition Report for $35, which seems to be similar to the EpicVIN report, but for almost four times the price:

If my goal was to pay $500, I would need to win with $300, and I feel there is a million-to-one chance of that. When I looked at auctions before, not only would people from across the country bid on it, but dang foreigners from other nations.

However, I would sell it for the right price.
