How does having coal power make anything better?
Go turn off you homes main circuit breaker.
Let us know how much your quality of life improves.
You have solar panels so you have some power right?
(Actually I know your grid tie system is useless when the power goes out unless you have a sunny boy sps serries grid tie inverter)
The EPA states that 95% of coal plant Hg emissions have been eliminated since 2001.
So the Hg argument doesn't really exist any more.
