Since the truck experience, I've had lots of discussions with other car guys about plugs. The tuners or drag racers that don't just use the cheapest plugs in the store use the ngk v-power plugs and change them out a lot. The show and go guys like the iridium plugs because they don't wear out. No need to change plugs because of melted or fouled or corroded components.

I would have never paid 70 bucks for 8 plugs, but after the results in the GMC, I now run them in my S10 and the Saturn SC2 with similar results. Just make sure you get the right part number when you buy them, as the gap is set at the factory, and different gaps have different part numbers on the box.
