I had an interview with a local news paper this evening about electric cars so I figured I should get the citi-car out of the garage so it could be seen, as the garage is small and messy, so I lifted it up to pull the wood stand out from under it, carried the rear end over to turn it to face the doorway (was sideways to make the single car garage a two electric car garage) got it, turned the key and drove it out... worked perfectly! after the interview i took it for a little spin down the road, keeping it short because it doesn't have lights, or a windshild... or a body... or a passenger side door, with two normal car batteries under the seat I was able to get up to 20mph (24 volts total instead of the full 48V) and it feels like it will be nice to drive, I should have some photos soon.
