The same thing can be said about warming.
It works equally both ways.

I'm good I will have my own food supply with in a few years.
50% crop failure is nothing. This past year Australia lost up to 70% of their wheat crop.
I'm looking forward to being able to sell a potato for $50.

Unless the government goes straight for replacement of coal and natural gas power plants with nuclear then there is nothing they can do to make any kind of real effect on the amount of CO2 the United States produces.

Then there is china. In 10 to 15 years they will likely be producing 3x the CO2 the United States was producing at our peak.

If hundreds of millions of people are displaced we better get that wall built and build it so high they can't "climate".
