If I recall, Citizen Kane had no point. I'm not big on movies with no point, like No Country For Old Men.

2001 was playing at 2am on OPB back when I first watched it in high school. I kept falling asleep during the 10min silent shots of things slowly rotating. Might have been my 6th attempt that I finally saw it through. It starts well, has a compelling storyline, fantastic music, and realistic physics. I could use faster pacing though, and could do without the psychedelics. Still, it's one of those movies I appreciate more each time I watch it, similar to my growing appreciation for Dr. Strangelove.
