Just like trying to build the fastest car around driving for the best fuel efficiency can also become an obsession. Years ago when I'd go on a long road trip I'd see what the shortest length time I could drive it in was, now I see what's the best fuel mileage I can get even if it means adding an extra hour to the drive. I just bought a used 2016 Versa with the CVT about 1.5 months ago and so far I've had a tank at 42.3 MPG and one at 46.0 MPG. According to my onboard mileage calculator and the Ultra Gauge both I'm beating both previous numbers on this tank. Summer time is also coming up so I expect to see those numbers increase over the next few months.
