I'm no computer expert but for years I have been attempting to limit tracking cookies with Ccleaner (free). I run it just about after every session of going on the Internet. It takes a while to select out each of your favorite or trusted websites in the interface so it does not wipe out your log-in passwords and the like. However, once set up it obliterates everything else in it's path.
Some people do not like Ccleaner after trying it one time. They think they can skip the step of marking/moving their favorite sites and run it, and in the process losing all of their log-in's.
Caution before using, it is a powerful tool.
If not marked as a friend, it is a foe and will be wiped clean.
