I could just as easily say that paranoid overpopulation believes are just looking too short term, as the evidence clearly shows a decreasing population growth rate, which will turn negative within my lifetime. The long term problem then is under population.

The US has a negative growth rate, except for immigration. We're not the overpopulation problem. Those that aren't breeding aren't pulling their weight, as replacing the human population is the most important task, and among the most sacrificial one can make.

Too many people, if that is a problem, is one that has existed for practically zero time when measured by all of human history, and it's one that is already being taken care of.

...and if you don't like to be social, there's plenty of room in Alaska. Living near a Walmart is simply being a glutton for punishment.
