Now, I've upped the Accent front tires to 205x65x15 inch tires. With the steering wheel cranked about 2/3rds of the way, the tread edges are close to the mudflaps, but still no touching. My mechanic says good to go. Yes, its sweet to reduce the rpms by hundreds. Its not as good as an extra transmission gear, but it is like one third of the way to an extra gear & that is good. The larger diameter tires give the small car a more grown-up suspension feel.
