I'm trying to work a deal where I dedicate x number of hours per month sorting storage stuff with my parents participation. The goal is to sort into piles of:
Keep
Dispose/recycle
Donate
Sell
My parents, and dad in particular has a habit of accumulating junk they will never use. He's getting older, so projects he intended to complete are decreasingly likely to occur. I don't want to be left with a nightmare to sort through someday, so I figured I'd try to nip this one in the bud.
As far as trim goes, nobody would notice the different size as long as it was consistent between the rooms in which they are used.
Why take the trim off to paint rather than mask off the wall?
