I am pondering about an EGR delete for my 1.6 TDI. For fe reasons but mainly because I do not want to deal with the intake gunking up.

Also I need that port to do water injection without drilling the manifold etc.

The car has cooled EGR and I do not want to lose that benefitaswll.

I have a good tuner that can probably delete the egr and make all the software corrections.

Now how to retain the warmup effect, if i just vent the end of the egr next to the exhaust would that be the same as running a mini straight pipe? Plus I can have the EGR on absolutely full untill engine warms up.
