The stock ty III dual pdsit carbs come on a shorty intake. It all clears the engine hatch with the aircleaners on. No need for webber/ stromberg side drafts.
I do like the woodie concept.
Iirc, the rage was to take off the reduction boxes in bussies to get faster than 55 mph when you put in a dual port engine. That was only for pre '68 swing axles. After 68 the dual ports didn't have reduction but did have IRS.
