I have converted an old Ninja 600 to electric. Using an AC-20 three phase motor, and a Curtis motor controller and 10kwh of thundersky batteries running at 108 Volts. It took a bit to do interfacing to the bike, and charger but I can get 50 miles in mixed driving. But I do have a bit of overheating at 60MPH and over. It is very important to keep the RPM up high. I believe it is 72 teeth on the wheel to 10 on the motor. Expensive but it works.
