Thanks for all the responses. A scan gauge will be on the docket soon. Changing her driving habits is in progress.
Someone asked about stock instrumentation: it has nothing in terms or fuel economy monitoring.
As far as appearances: she just wants it to look stock, not necessarily fancy.
