Road Trip
OK, made my LONG trip. I didn't log the trip there, but on the way back, my stats were:
Distance: 733.3 miles
Track time: 14:30:57 (forgot to turn off when I got home, so probably 14h even)
Average Moving Speed: 52.7mph
Elevation loss: -26,907
Elevation gain: 23,848
Distance Downhill: 78.89 miles
Distance Uphill: 71.42 miles
Min Altitude: 2,200 ft
Max Altitude: 8,451 ft
Max Speed: 78.5 mph
Home is about 2,200 ft altitude and the travel desination was 5,300 ft.
50/55 psi in the tires. Kept the speed around 55mph (though I targetted 60mph where I could) and tried to keep 50mph the lowest I go (though some brutal uphills got me down into the 30's, but those were short lived). Lean burn as often as possible and was the vast majority of the time. Obviously, there were points where the speed limit took me down as low as 30mph through some of the towns, but most of it was highway/interstate.
Anywho, see the pics for my to, from, and total MPG. I'm not complaining.
