My understanding is that traffic is pretty much all very low speed in the Philippines? This would be a great application for an EV, especially with all the traffic jams, as an EV sitting still is just sitting still, whereas a gas engine is wasting tons of energy idling.
I'm not sure if the infrastructure is there for EVs, but if so it would be worth considering.
