I am too, less because I care about emissions that much, than because I think an impressive build starts with picking up the details which make your actual driving experience feel seamless.
The downstream O2 isn’t a critical part of engine operation for most engines (although I am not really familiar with K-series Hondas), it’s mostly there to monitor catalyst efficiency. But by allowing the car to operate without a constant CEL, you don’t have to constantly run a TC scan to make sure, and it just looks better.
