Do you have a weight for the Insight spare wheels? I have a set ready to go but I've been lazy. Definitely going to weigh them after I remove the tire.
I've heard reports of anywhere between 7 and 9 pounds per wheel. A set of 3 in a box plus wrapping and popcorn insulation thingies weighed in at 49lbs. Ecky said the weight of a spare tire and wheel is 14.5lbs. 115/70R14 tires are somewhere between 7 and 9 lbs each, so my guess would be between 7.5 and 8lbs. Do let us know the weight if you get a chance to weigh the bare rim.

Keep in mind too that the Insight spares are slightly less aerodynamic than the stock wheels due to no center cover and slightly more open area around the outside of the wheel. It's a very small penalty, but the benefit from the lighter wheels will be very small as well, and some tiny aero handicap may very well negate any benefit. That's the main reason why I haven't installed my set of 4 space savers yet; I may install them down the road when I need new tires, or I may just keep them to use if I ever need winter tires.
