I maintained that I would only believe it when I saw it, since GM has teased those panties since ~1970. But it’s here now. I think it makes sense for the brand, and frankly a change like this feels less rippling or disturbing than the Mustang going IRS.
If Lotus could build supercharged Evoras at the price of a Corvette, we wouldn’t think of the Evora as anything less than a magic exotic car at a magical price. But Chevy builds the Corevette at a bargain price with passably good quality, and genuinely good dynamics (Z51 bargain, anybody?), and folks dismiss it as just more GM muscle trash.
