We become relevant when gas prices go up and people freak out.
There's probably going to be fossil fuel domination of the transportation industry for at least a nother 20 years.
I remember in the 90s hearing "everyone will be driving electric cars by 2020", yeah electrics make up more like 0.25% of registered on road vehicles as of 2018.
They might reach half of one percent by the end of 2020.
