I moved all the arduino brains to the glove box and just rounted a 25 pin serial cable to my mini lcd and button box. That way I can use the freeduino for other projects just by unplugging the mpguino.

Mine has been installed since Saturday and has survived that many hot days. How long before yours started acting up? I assume I would have know something by now. I do keep a piece of paper on top of the unit to keep it out of direct sunlight. I doubt that helps much; it's more of a mental thing, lol.
