Kind of hard to tell the CBR 300R MPG, fuelly data is janky, but the CBR 250R (single) seems to get high 60s to low 70s. The one or two 300s I can pull up are mid 70s.
I got the impression this article was dealing with "highway worthy" bikes. I don't know that a Grom would be a great option for cruising down the interstate, though I prefer 55 mph back roads on any bike.
