I assume AZ climate is harsher on a vehicle than most other climates.
Dying coil pack? I've seen lots of coils go bad in my day.
One easy test to see if spark is happening elsewhere than the plug is to get a spray bottle and douse the coil and wires when it's dark out to see if you can locate where it's arcing.
