They always say that school buses are safer without seatbelts. If we hit something head-on, or something rear-ends us, sure, especially if it is smaller. The passengers will bounce off of padded seat backs, but I am pretty sure that in any other scenario, kids are bouncing around at a high rate of speed.
I have seen school buses that seated seventy-two kids. How much would the seatbelts cost? Who is responsible for them staying buckled?
