I dunno, I drove a 72 kid bus for elementary schools which was 3 kids to a seat instead of 2 for the bigger ones. You could legally push it to 90 plus depending on the back seat if you were hauling kindergarten kids.

Trust me, if they are belted in when you start, you'll hear them unclick. And no they don't have a seatbelt light except for the driver. You just pull over and park until you hear that click they make being buckled. When you park, the other kids snitch.

Misconception of people thinking the back is not observable by the driver. The first couple of rows directly behind me were invisible, everything else was clearly seen in the huge interior mirrors or camera in the newer busses.
