Flying cars... Unless they discover anti-gravity, they would be just like small helicopter, and demanding large spaces to fly, and not like the flying droids of Star Wars.
The idea that everyone would be able to replace their cars with flying cars (like planes or helicopter or drones) it's insane. 2D it's already difficult to drive and keep safe, and 3D would be even more dangerous, and the air turbulance demand large distances splitting the vehicles one form each other.
Drones... large drones... I think it's a mistake imagine it as flying cars... Anyway if we think about large drones for human transportation, maybe up to 4 people, it can became a reality in the next 15 years or less, if Goodenough new battery could realy get 10x more energy than the actual lithium cells, but would demand air roots as a helicopter demands.
Controled fusion already exists, but at present time it produces less energy than what it's need to create the fusion itself.
