Wow. That shot of the car passing at, I presume, near 500 MPH is amazing.
It is good that they were checking the "track" before hitting the throttle on the jet. I just read that they think the reason Jessi Combs died in her jet car at those speeds was because of wheel failure, possibly after hitting something on the course.
Brave folks to strap themselves on an aircraft jet engine with wheels and open the throttle to see what happens.
