When I was 16, I used to say the ideal vehicle for me would be a Kombi with an Iron Duke swap, or the last local Brazilian variant of the 153 which effectively became some sort of non-crossflow Iron Duke. I'd still rather get a Kombi instead of a panel, but wouldn't disconsider other engines such as the 4.3L V6 or even some V8, or maybe get tempted to try a Cummins ISF2.8 since it's been often pointed out as comparable to a gasser V8.
