I am slowly working on a tail box for my 700C triple crank commuter bike. I am using 9 mm aluminum honeycomb for the bulkheads and spars. The front is angled to follow the contours of my back and the rear Kamm tail is 8 inches wide. Length is 18 inches at the base. The skin is hex mesh chicken wire bonded between 5 mil plastic. The nose is cut and bent from 4 mm Coroplast to resemble a motorcycle touring fairing.
