If I may digress...

I have a theory that my ride gets better FE if I keep the gas tank full (less evaporation).

I tried several two-gallon 'squirts' on a near-empty tank for approx. 1000 miles and FE got worse - so now, I'm gonna try 'topping' my tank every day or two for 1000 miles - which appears to be promising, so far...

Back on topic...

The price of gas @ my favorite QT (in Phoenix) has NOT gone up since 'Ike' - not a penny - not yet! It's still $3.419/gal. as of last night.
