Rainier is a national forest, so that location is out, but there are plenty of trails and mountains that aren't national forest.

Right now they are just banned on national PARKS but national forest lands are ok. But then Ranier is actually a national park so they probably are banned there. National forest and BLM Lands are probably 100:1 compared to national park land area. I wonder about desiginated wilderness though? You can't even bring a wheeled hand cart or bicycle in the wilderness... although a 20 mule train is hunky dory. We need hyper realistic robot mules. North Korea probably already has them in their sex industry.
