Fifty dollars for that beast?! Sure, it does not compare to $5 for a sixteen-foot tree (except price per pound), but that is crazy!
Google does not show any tree farms in my area. Home Depot charges $90 for a tree between 6 and 6.5 feet.
Your tree would last a couple of weeks longer than a commercial tree.
