So no EQC for the USA after all - At least not in 2020. Mercedes has decided to keep all the EQCs they can produce in Europe to help meet EU CO2 standards.

In the EU a company's fleet average has to be 95 grams per km or below. The fine for each car above 95 grams is $106 per gram. EVs will go a long way towards offsetting fines from gas vehicles. (Daimler's average for 2019 was 135 g/km)
