Yes, they produce yeast base, or even with some more things, to sell to Australia. The girl who is seller representative from the yeast company on Valinhos (next to Campinas) told me.
But I don't think there is any product ready for consumer.
It's not to be used alone. After apply butter or margarine on breed toast, for exemple, the yeast paste it's applied in a very thin layer, to work as a flavor enhancer for the fatty food.
