As per Tesla's 4Q earnings call Musk officially confirmed that the Model Y:
- already entered production in Fremont
- will be delivered starting by the end of Q1
- will run off the same line as the Model 3, boosting Fremont's production capacity to 500,000 a year
- has a revised and improved EPA range of 315 miles!

That is sooner than expected. Even at the 3Q earnings call Musk indicated deliveries would start only during summer.
