Our 2014 Leaf S had Bridgestone Ecopia tires, and I bought Nokian Hakka R2 for the winter. In less than 36K miles (the limit of our lease), we wore out the Ecopias and nearly the Hakka R2s had one more season plus a little, left in them.
The only issues with our Leaf was a leaky windshield right at the get go, and I think we had a mouse nest in the heater fan. Both got fixed by the dealer, no charge. No issues from New England potholed roads.
