Seems a waste. A seller's rating will tell you if they are legit or not. I don't even know what benefit there would be to misrepresent a vehicle, cause they wouldn't get the cash once you figured out they weren't selling the vehicle advertised.

I bought my motorcycle on Ebay back in 2003. The bike was just as described, except when I went to pick it up the battery was dead. No battery stores were open on Sunday and the guy felt bad, so he rented a Uhaul trailer for us to transport it (I was going to ride it back) and threw in his helmet and jacket.

Bought the 2 year old bike for $5,500
