I wouldn't call spending $100,000 to run in the 11's is "easily" beating some $30,000-$50,000 cars. I believe a new $60,000 C8 is going to "easily" beat the Model S performance in every measurable performance test except economy.
Still this is a cool time. I have heard the C8 has room left for both a battery pack and an electirc front drive motor coming down the road.
