My 2015 Mazda3 with the 2.0L engine and six-speed automatic does pretty well. It has a final drive ratio of 3.59 and a final 0.60 overdrive, equating to a final drive ratio of 2.15. This allows me to cruise at 70MPH at 1950RPM on the 20565R16 Bridgestone Ecopias I am currently running, but my prefered speed for better fuel economy is 60MPH at 1670RPM.

With 155HP, I doubt this car would benefit from any higher gearing. It's got pretty long legs from the factory and seems to be quite well specced.
