Then she might not get a check. The IRS knows you exist from your tax return.
Also most of the talk about this bill is about sending checks to every taxpayer not person. A senior citizen living on Social Security has lost zero income from this crisis
Also it is possible she has been going without money she is owed by not filing. I don’t know for sure as I have never done taxes for someone with only Social Security.
