If it's any help, we pushed decent signal 1300 ft on cat6, but then you'll need a modem at the far end.
Just put a decent padlock on the hasp of the door, not like thieves are going back there since there is always more money in the house. Having said that, if you have speed heads in the 'Hood all bets are off.
