Get one for a real house and you can add a zero.

$900 for a Bosch (German) unit. You also have to consider total cost not just purchase price. Yes, a cheap air conditioner and space heater are cheaper up front but you will likely pay the difference every year in extra energy cost vs a high efficiency heat pump. That heat pump is 21 SEER while the typical window A/C is 11 SEER. Electric resistance heat is basically burning dollar bills for heat.

Mini-Splits are also super quiet - about 26 dB on low / 39 on high. A window unit is going to be 55-60 db.

Heats with air temperatures down to -12F / cools to 122F

Amazon has a bunch of no-name Chinese brands for about $600 - $700. Is a mystery brand without the 7 year warranty worth the savings?
