Well, yeah, we've been undercounting cases from day one. Not much sense in testing a corpse when you've got a long line of sick people that can't get tested.
Houston hasn't reported a surge of coronavirus cases. But its hospitals tell a different story.
A jump in hospital admissions suggests that most coronavirus cases have gone undetected in America's fourth biggest city.
Quote:
The 25-county region surrounding Houston had reported fewer than 950 confirmed coronavirus cases among its 9.3 million residents as of Monday. But on that same day, there were 996 people hospitalized in the region with confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19, according to the advisory council count. That figure is not cumulative and does not include patients with COVID-19 who were hospitalized and released before Monday.

Yep. 950 positive test results since day one, but 996 in the hospital that day being treated for it. It looks like Texas is doing as good a job keeping coronavirus down as
West Virginia was. The same way
Florida was so good at keeping unemployment down.
It looks like a trend.
