Since I needed to write progress reports yesterday, and I could not start earlier because I was trying to keep my school job, I went grocery shopping this morning, which was great, because I only got a half-hour nap after finishing my progress reports.

Eventually I realized that I needed to turn off my phone to reduce distractions, which seems counterintuitive, because I had not touched my phone in hours.

Mom put Best Foods mayonaise on the list and I wondered why the heck anyone paid $5 for fat in a jar.

Is that another thing that vastly increased in price for no apparent reason?

I sure wish that Mom had put eggs on that list. I did not think of it and then she acted like it was the most important thing ever, so wearing a respirator and gloves I went to four stores, and finally paid $5 for a dozen at Circle K.

Good times.
