Sorry, my bad. I didn't go back to the source document, but plagiarized a news story. In my own defense the period was outside the quote, it could/should have had an ellipsis.

The more interesting question (to me) is whether the individual states intend to advance or retard the cessation of the quarantine. Texas for instance seems to curtail, others to extend.
