I think as long as you are talking about a pack voltage as opposed to individual cells, that the same charger should work for either pack. The two chemistrys have similar charging parameters. They start with a constant current charge and then at some predetermined point of charge level the charger switches over to a constant voltage level and limits the current until the charger determines the pack is full. Of course this assumes that the pack voltages are the same. I would ask the manufacturer or the dealer you purchase the pack from if the same charger can be used.
